Town of New Castle, Chappaqua NY 2019 Annual Memorial Day Parade on Monday May 27th, starting at 10:30am, with memorial ceremonies at the victory corner monument (corner of King and Bedford road by Talbots/across from Walgreens). The parade assembles at 10:40am at Ridgewood Terrace and steps off at 11:00 am. Drop off for participants is at the intersection of 120 and Elm street between 10:30am and 10:45am. During the parade, traffic will be stopped for all motor vehicles except those participating in the parade along the route so please plan accordingly.


Victorian Valentine’s Tea and Craft Party, New Castle Historical Society, Sat, 2/9: 11am-4pm: Join the NCHS for a special Victorian Tea at the Horace Greeley House. Junie B. Jones The Musical, Chappaqua Performing Arts Center, Sat, 2/9: 2pm: This new musical is based on four volumes in Barbara Park’s Junie B. Jones series of books. It follows Junie B.’s adventures that she writes down in her “Top-Secret Personal Beeswax Journal.” about new friends, new glasses, sugar cookies, the annual kickball tournament, and other various first-grade angst-ridden situations. Harvest Fest Pumpkin Patch, Church of St. Mary The Virgin, Sat, 10/13: 11am-3pm: Buy your Halloween pumpkin at this event at St. Mary The Virgin, next to Bell Middle School. On Saturday, there will will games, face painting, crafts, photo ops, pumpkin decorating and a pie sale, donuts, cider and hot dogs.
